Get to know us, we are close to home and committed to addressing the health care needs of our community with highly trained professionals.

Our goal is that you will receive care as quickly and professionally as possible.  A visit to an emergency department usually occurs when you least expect it.  At Lauderdale Community Hospital, we understand that if a health problem brings you to the emergency department, you want help fast.

Our Emergency department is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week with qualified physicians on duty to care for you at all times.  Each patient will be seen/triaged by a trained qualified Registered Nurse - your care is prioritized according to the seriousness of your emergency - and registration staff before paperwork.

Our physicians, nurses and technicians are well trained and able to provide fast, quality care.

Our emergency department nursing personnel hold various certifications including Advanced Cardiac Life Support, (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within first year of employment.  All ED nurses have training in dysrhythmia identification, Pediatric Emergency Assessment Recognition and specialized IV courses.  Stabilzation (PEARS) – ACLS and PALS are required.

We are committed to meeting your needs with courtesy and respect.
