Douglas Helping Redevelop HOPE

Lauderdale Community Hospital’s inpatient opioid stabilization program is entitled "Empower Hope".  Brenda Douglas has expanded her role at LCH to include Director of the opioid stabilization service. A big part of her role is marketing the program to the communities in the surrounding areas by promoting and educating the public about the service and the opioid epidemic.

Recently Douglas could be found at the Lauderdale County Chamber Coffee on Friday, October 5th at the Ripley Fire Department.  There she met with lots of people as well as Tennessee State Senator Ed Jackson (pictured below directly behind Douglas).

She was also out doing community outreach at a local community health fair on the University of Tennessee - Martin campus in Ripley making lots of new contacts and discussing "Empower Hope".

More about the program can be found by clicking here.
